Journal of Geriatric Pharmacy
The Journal of Geriatric Pharmacy was launched in March 2018 to present findings of studies on appropriate pharmacotherapy practices for older people. The journal is currently published quarterly and is available online via the JSGP website.
Research themes covered by the journal include studies on swallowing function in older people, support for medication adherence among home-bound older people, coordination with home-care support professionals, appropriate prescribing practices for older people, healthcare interventions to prevent declines in ADL, and polypharmacy strategies. As the global population continues to age, Japan must take a leading role in geriatric healthcare. We look forward to receiving your article submissions so that the Journal of Geriatric Pharmacy can play a part in achieving this.
